The Government of Assam has launched Arunodoi 3.0 Scheme 2026 to provide direct financial assistance to the economically weaker women of the state. Under this scheme, eligible women beneficiaries receive Rs. 1,250 per month directly into their bank accounts through DBT. This is one of the biggest women empowerment schemes in Assam started by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Objective of Arunodoi Scheme

The main objective of the Arunodoi Scheme is to provide monthly financial support to poor households so they can purchase essential items like medicines, pulses, sugar, and fruits. The money is transferred to the bank account of the senior-most female member of the family to ensure women empowerment and nutritional support. From 2026, the amount has been increased from Rs. 830 to Rs. 1,250 under Arunodoi 3.0.

Arunodoi 3.0 Benefits & Amount Breakdown

Every selected beneficiary will receive Rs. 1,250 per month. The government has fixed this amount for the following purposes:

  • Rs. 400 - For Medicines
  • Rs. 200 - For 4 KG Pulses
  • Rs. 80 - For 4 KG Sugar
  • Rs. 150 - For Fruits & Vegetables
  • Rs. 420 - Additional Support

Total = Rs. 1,250 per month

Eligibility Criteria for Arunodoi 3.0 Scheme

To apply for Arunodoi 3.0, the applicant must fulfill the following conditions:

  1. Applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
  2. Applicant must be a female member of the family. Priority is given to widows, unmarried women above 45, and divyang/differently-abled women.
  3. The annual family income should be less than Rs. 2 Lakh from all sources.
  4. The beneficiary should have a bank account in her name with Aadhaar seeding.
  5. The family should not own a four-wheeler vehicle.
  6. No member of the family should be an income tax payer.
  7. No member should be a regular government employee or pensioner.
  8. Families having less than 15 bighas of agricultural land are eligible.

Who is Not Eligible for Arunodoi Scheme?

  • Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Architects, CAs, and other professionals.
  • Former and current MPs/MLAs.
  • Employees of Government/PSU/Boards.
  • Families owning tractor, fridge, or AC.

  1. Aadhaar Card of applicant
  2. Bank Passbook copy - Account must be in applicant’s name
  3. Income Certificate from Circle Officer
  4. Voter ID Card
  5. Ration Card (if available)

  7. Mobile number linked with Aadhaar
  8. Self-declaration form provided in the portal

How to Apply Online for Arunodoi 3.0 Scheme 2026

Follow these steps to submit the Arunodoi 3.0 online application form:

Step 1: Visit the official Arunodoi portal: arunodoi.assam.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on “Beneficiary Login” or “New Registration for Arunodoi 3.0”.

Step 3: Enter your mobile number and verify with OTP.

Step 4: Fill out the application form with personal details, income details, bank details, and upload the required documents.

Step 5: Submit the form and note down the Application Reference Number for future tracking.

Step 6: The Gaon Panchayat/ ULB will verify your application and forward it to the District Level Committee for final approval.

Arunodoi 3.0 Beneficiary List 2026

After verification, the district-wise beneficiary list will be published on the official portal. You can check your name by selecting District, Block, and Gaon Panchayat. The list is also displayed in the office of the Gaon Panchayat for public viewing. Only selected beneficiaries will start receiving Rs. 1,250 from the next month of approval.
