Tezpur College Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026
1. Educational Qualification
For CUET UG Route: Candidates must have passed HS 10+2 examination from any recognized board with minimum 45% marks in aggregate. Students must appear in CUET UG 2026 and select Tezpur College under Gauhati University as preference. Subject combination in CUET should match with Honours subject chosen.
For Direct Admission Route: Candidates must have passed HS 10+2 from AHSEC or equivalent board with minimum 65% marks for General category, 60% for OBC/MOBC, and 55% for SC/ST/PWD categories. Students must be domicile of Assam for direct admission. Best of 4 subjects will be considered including English.
2. Age Limit
General category students should not be more than 22 years as on 1st August 2026. Relaxation of 3 years for SC/ST/OBC and 5 years for PWD candidates as per government norms.
