1. Assam Police Physical Standard Test PST 2026
In PST, your height, weight, and chest measurement for male candidates are checked. If you do not meet the minimum standard, you will be disqualified from the race.

C. Assam Police Weight Requirement 2026
Weight should be proportionate to height and age as per medical standard. There is no fixed weight. But very overweight or underweight candidates may be declared unfit in the medical test.
2. Assam Police Physical Efficiency Test PET 2026
After you qualify PST, your physical efficiency is tested through a running race. This is called PET. The running time is different for male and female candidates.

B. Long Jump for Male Candidates

Assam Police Physical Test 2026: Step by Step Process
- Document Check: First your admit card and ID will be checked at the ground gate.
- Height & Chest PST: Your height and chest will be measured with a machine. If you pass, you go for running.
- Running PET: You will get a chest number. The race will start in batches. Your time will be recorded with a chip or stopwatch.
- Result: PET result is declared on the ground immediately. Pass or Fail.
- Medical Test: Candidates who pass PET will go for medical test on the same day or next day.

After PET, you must be medically fit. Main points checked:
