SCERT Assam DElEd PET 2026: Apply Online & Admit Card
The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam conducts the DElEd Pre-Entry Test (PET) for admission to the 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education course. This diploma is compulsory for teaching Classes 1 to 8 in Assam. Total 4150 seats are available in 64 Teacher Education Institutes. Eligibility requires 10+2 pass with 50% marks, 45% for SC/ST, and age 18-34 years. Application fee is ₹600 for all categories. Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam. 4. How to Apply Online :
- Registration: Visit https://scertpet.co.in → Click "New Registration" → Enter name, DOB, mobile number
- OTP Verification: Verify mobile number with OTP and login
- Application Form: Fill personal, communication, and qualification details. Select exam district
- Upload Documents: Passport photo max 100kb JPEG, Signature 100kb JPEG, Class 10 & 12 certificates PDF max 450kb each
- Fee Payment: Pay ₹600 online via UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking
- Final Submit: Verify all details and download Acknowledgement Slip
5. How to Download Admit Card 2026
The admit card is now available for all registered candidates. Follow these steps:
- Go to official website: https://scertpet.co.in
- Click on “Download Admit Card for DElEd PET 2026”
- Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth
- Check all details: Name, Roll Number, Exam Center, Photo
- Download PDF and take 2-3 printouts on A4 paper
Exam Day Instructions for 12 July 2026:
1. Reach exam center 2 hours before reporting time for identity verification and frisking
2. No entry permitted after gate closing time mentioned on admit card
3. Must Carry: Printed Admit Card + Original Photo ID + Passport-size photo
4. Banned Items: Mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, any electronic gadgets
5. Admit cards will not be sent by post. Download online only

The selection process involves qualifying the PET exam followed by centralized counselling based on merit rank. After counselling, candidates must complete document verification at allotted TEIs. The mobile number used during registration must remain active throughout the admission process as all communication is sent via SMS.
